1. Introduction
ChannelFleet Checker ("the App") is a Windows desktop application that helps YouTube channel owners monitor and manage multiple authorized YouTube channels from a single dashboard.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use Google OAuth and Google APIs through the App.
2. Data We Access
When you connect a YouTube channel using Google OAuth, the App may request read-only access to the following information, depending on the permissions you approve:
YouTube Data API v3
- Channel name and channel ID
- Subscriber count
- Channel thumbnail or avatar
- Other basic channel information required for the dashboard
YouTube Analytics API
- Watch hours for the requested reporting period
- Estimated minutes watched
- Authorized analytics information needed for dashboard displays and local history
Google Account Information
- Email address used to identify which authorized Google account is connected
The App uses read-only scopes and does not request permission to upload, edit, publish, or delete YouTube content.
3. How We Use Your Data
Authorized data is used only to provide visible features inside the App, including:
- Displaying connected channel information in the dashboard
- Showing subscriber and authorized watch-time information
- Displaying channel progress and operational status
- Storing local historical snapshots so users can review changes over time
- Helping users manage multiple YouTube channels more efficiently
Google user data is not used for advertising, advertising profiles, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose.
4. Data Storage and Protection
Google user data retrieved by the App is stored locally on the user's Windows device in the following application data directory:
%APPDATA%\channelfleet-checker\Application information is stored in local files used by ChannelFleet Checker. ChannelFleet Checker does not operate a server that stores Google user data.
The App communicates directly with Google OAuth, YouTube Data API, and YouTube Analytics API services over the network. Therefore, this policy does not claim that the App never communicates with external services; it explains that data is not transmitted to or stored on servers operated by the developer.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their Windows account and device. Do not share Windows access with untrusted people.
5. OAuth Tokens
When you authorize a Google account, Google may issue access and refresh tokens. These credentials are stored locally on your device to support authorized data synchronization.
OAuth credentials:
- Are stored only in the App's local application data
- Are not uploaded to servers operated by the developer
- Are not sold or shared with third parties
- Can be removed by disconnecting the account in the App
- Can be invalidated by revoking ChannelFleet Checker's access through your Google Account settings
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google OAuth, YouTube Data API v3, and YouTube Analytics API. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's policies.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Local data is retained until you remove a connected account, use available data-deletion controls in the App, or manually delete the ChannelFleet Checker application data folder.
Uninstalling a Windows application does not always remove application data automatically. To ensure local ChannelFleet Checker data is deleted, disconnect connected accounts and remove the App data folder shown in Section 4.
Deleting local ChannelFleet Checker data does not delete or modify information stored by Google or YouTube.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- Choose whether to authorize a Google account
- Decline permissions and stop using Google-connected features
- Disconnect an account from the App
- Export locally stored data through available export features
- Delete local App data
- Review or revoke Google access at Google Account third-party connections
- Contact us with privacy or data-deletion questions
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-operated servers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, Google API requirements, or applicable law. The latest revision date will be shown at the top of this page.
